ArtOfficial: Officially Interviewed (Antisteez.com)

It goes without saying that there are a handful of bands in Miami that are a necessity for your ears. That being what it is, if you live in Miami and have not caught ArtOfficial at a show, you should. They are one of those necessary musical experiences you need to have if you plan to coexist in the 305. Not because we are telling you to. No. Because you should do yourself a favor.

(Your ears will high-five you and remind you to send us a Thank You note. I promise.)

I recently had the chance to chat with ArtOfficial vocalist, Logics (Via email, which is a form of chatting, I guess.) and we discussed the band’s new album, The Payback. And trust me when I say that this musical venture is generating more buzz than cheap beer at a kegger, kids.

Why?…

The Payback

First of all, thank you to everyone who has supported us since day one as well as those who found out about us last week! It’s been a hell of a journey, but The Payback is here (almost)!

Tomorrow at 9AM, The Payback will be available for download/stream here and at DJBooth.net. For free of course, and encoded as very high quality MP3s. We also included some goodies in there, so make sure to check em out.

A word of advice: In order to get the full experience, this project is meant to be downloaded and played loudly and repeatedly..lol. You wouldn’t show Avatar on a standard 13 inch TV, so don’t  just play this thing in your laptop. Take it out for a ride.

The Release Party

If you’ve never been to an AO show. This is the one you want to pop your cherry with. Believe me, we’ll make your first time memorable. For the seasoned AO show go-ers. You don’t want to miss this one either. Expect the unexpected.

We got lights, we got cameras, and there will be action, lots of it. Lots of free stuff too. Free posters (limited!), free CDs, free entrance, and free chapstick. Just kidding on that last one.

This release is a big thank you to everyone. The concert go-ers, the listeners, the haters, the collaborators, and the city itself. Miami stand-up! And don’t ever say we didn’t give you nothing!!
